Why Cooking? For me, cooking isn’t just a daily routine—it’s an act of love. My mamie’s kitchen in Lyon, France was a haven of warmth, where recipes were shared by memory, not measurement, and where every dish told a story.

My Story

I grew up in a cozy, food-loving family in Lyon, where Sunday meals were long, loud, and lovingly made. I’d stand beside my mamie, watching her transform simple ingredients into unforgettable meals. Those moments taught me to cook with intuition and care.

When I moved to San Diego in my twenties, I carried those traditions with me but also found myself drawn to modern cooking methods. Enter sous vide—a technique that combined my love of precision with the tenderness of slow, thoughtful cooking. The first time I tasted a sous vide egg, I was hooked. From then on, I started adapting old family favorites with this new approach, merging heritage with innovation.

By age 30, I had created recipes that combined classic French flavors with modern convenience: sous vide ratatouille, melt-in-your-mouth meats, vibrant veggies, and desserts that feel like hugs. Every dish was tested in my home kitchen, often with my cat as the curious observer.
